Council Coordinator: Dr. Nicole Duplaix
Nicole’s role is to carry out the direction of the Council. She is in charge of developing work plans, soliciting and managing funds, building Council membership and gathering input from the community.

Projects Coordinator: Michael Cairns
Michael is managing several on-the-ground restoration and monitoring projects. He is available to meet with landowners to provide guidance, discuss techniques and help seek funding for restoration work.

  • concerned about a stream on your property
  • in need of advice on restoration techniques
  • interested in helping to maintain new plantings on public land

Christine assisted with promoting the Council and connecting with the community. She managed the LWC volunteer program, developed outreach materials, coordinated Council events and maintained the LWC webpage.
