Students from Dr. Emily Plec’s Environmental Communication course at WOU will discuss their interviews with rural landowners from the local community. The presentation will highlight some of the key themes and concerns expressed by landowners, as well as their attitudes and perceptions relevant to the watershed council and its work.

Mike Propes ( Polk County Commissioner) and Steve Mamoyac (ODFW Fisheries Biologist) will discuss the proposed Valsetz Dam and its implications to the Luckiamute watershed.
