Location: Monmouth Volunteer Hall.

 

INTRODUCTIONS – Dave Vesely

Dave Vesely called the meeting to order, Dave Anderson, chair, was absent. Minutes from March were distributed and unanimously approved. April minutes approval was tabled and Ann S. has not yet submitted January minutes.

BUSINESS:

COORDINATOR’S REPORT– Michael

2006 volunteer water quality monitoring – Cairns proposed to focus 15 sample sites in the Upper Luckimaute/Maxfield Creek and Ash Creek 6^th field sub-watersheds. Discussion ensued. A motion to proceed as described was unanimously approved.

Appointment of new LWC member – Wade Edris has expressed interest in serving on the LWC in the vacant Environment position. MOTION TO APPROVE APPOINTMENT. Discussion – Wade described his background and interests. VOTE: UNANIMOUS IN FAVOR.

Meeting adjourned at 8:30 pm. Next meeting is June 8, 2006.

BIRDER’S BIG DAY – Chairman led a discussion of the event planning.
