February 8, 2007

INTRODUCTION:
The meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. by David Anderson, Chair. ACTION: Moved and seconded motion for approval of the January 2007 minutes. Minutes were approved.
Guests: Scott Snedaker, BLM; Phil Larsen, watershed resident; Carolyn Menke, Institute for Applied Ecology; Eric Rose-Phillips, Salem filmmaker.
BUSINESS:
Officer elections: Although Jim Clawson and Kenn Carter have indicated they would be willing to serve again, they were absent from this meeting, thus votes for secretary and treasurer should occur next month.
Coordinator’s Report (See attached LWC Coordinator Report for February 2007)
Grant status was reviewed.
Presentation Mike Rodriguez presented results of his Falls City High School class E. coli monitoring of the Little Luckiamute River.
Action Planning
Shawn leads the prioritization process, explains the scoring and criteria and leads discussion about the meaning and interpretations of the questions. Next month the process will continue.
Announcements – Carolyn Menke described the Benton County Habitat Conservation Planning process. Michael represents the LWC on the stakeholder advisory committee for this process.
